Organic Gardening and Education

Clare Gardens grows produce for retirement communities in Milwaukee including its new intergenerational community, Trinity Woods. Produce is also sold in the Fall at the CEC and donated to local food pantries. Clare Gardens grows vegetables, orchard and perennial fruits like apples and raspberries, hosts bee hives, chickens and incorporates composting from food waste generated on-site. Clare Gardens farms 5+ acres at the Catholic Ecology Center and also has a greenhouse and hoop house. 

They average over 20,000 pounds of vegetable produce grown each year!!

Clare Gardens Organic Farm is a ministry of Milwaukee Catholic Home and we are proud to have them on-site at the Catholic Ecology Center.
